With Radiesse, you're going to see more visible changes in the skin within the first one to two weeks. There's a little more initial volumization — but most of that is still temporary.
With Sculptra, there's really no immediate visual change. The swelling from the saline resolves in the first week, and then it takes several weeks — for me, about three months — before you may start to notice the difference. Everyone's a little different.
But honestly? That's one of the things I love most about Sculptra. It comes on so slowly and so naturally that really only you notice it. And that's kind of the whole point, isn't it? Not to look like you've had something done. Just to look like yourself, maintained.
