Day 3 after CO2 laser... is this normal? - Derm Sitch Incoming…

CO2 laser is a powerhouse — and this is exactly what real recovery can look like.
I love how this creator is sharing her journey, because it’s such a good representation of what someone going through a powerful resurfacing treatment can experience on day three. Just to be clear: not everyone who gets a CO2 laser will look like this. It’s a highly customizable device, which is part of what makes it so effective — but it also means results and recovery vary person to person.

A few things I want to point out:
→ Day 3-4 is usually the hardest part of recovery→ Vinegar soaks + solid skincare = exactly what I want to see→ She’s not picking, which is huge for healing and avoiding scarring→ Her neck healing slower than her face? Completely normal

The neck just heals differently than the face. The skin is thinner there and has fewer oil glands, so it’s totally expected that her face would bounce back faster while her neck stays a little more tender longer.

Recovery isn’t always pretty, but it’s part of the process. Can’t wait to see her healed results — I have a feeling she’s going to look phenomenal.
